January 2019: What Is Your Intention?

The quiet solitude of January can make it the perfect time for reflection. Dark, quiet, wintery nights are welcome after the hustle and bustle of the holiday season and allow us to think about what our hopes are for the year ahead.

So this month I encourage you to think about your intentions, as where intention goes, energy flows.

So maybe this year your intention is to live a little healthier? If so, what are you going to do differently to help make this happens?

Or perhaps your intention is to spend more time with friends and family?

Maybe your intention is to change jobs; to start a new hobby?

Whatever it may be, write your intentions down or say them out loud as once you state them, the Universe will help make them happen.

And if it is too much to think about the year ahead just think about next month, or next week. Having a journal to write in can help with this too. Write down your intentions and then every day write a few words about how you’re doing towards those intentions. Any small wins, breakthroughs, actions towards that intention. It is great to then look back on and see the progress you have made (plus it is a great excuse to go and buy yourself a beautiful new journal to write in!)

Remember - Where intention goes, energy flows.

In other news:

 

  • Monday Classes: After the Christmas break all Monday yoga classes will resume week commencing 7th January 2019. These classes will be with Christine who is covering a few more classes in the New Year.
  • Tuesday Classes: Can’t wait to start up Tuesday evening yoga classes again and we have a new venue too! The next block of classes start Tuesday 5th February 6.15-7.15pm at Breathe Spaces, Penylan.
  • I’m back: I am super excited to be back teaching classes from the end of January and seeing everyone again and hearing about your Christmas breaks!
  • Vegan Month: Last November we supported World Vegan Month by trying to go Vegan for all of November. It was a great success with so many recipes, tips and ideas shared in the Facebook Group.
  • Yoga Studio: Work is well and truly under way for the Yoga Three60 studio, set to open in 2019. Here is a sneak preview ….
